For the Blackened Chicken:
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Alabama White Sauce:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon sugar
Additional Ingredients:
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup sliced pickles
Instructions
- Preheat the Grill: Prepare the grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
- Season the Chicken: Pat chicken thighs dry and season with blackening seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook the Chicken: Grill or sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Make the White Sauce: Mix together mayonnaise, vinegar, horseradish, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice chicken, toast buns, and assemble sliders with lettuce, chicken, white sauce, and pickles.
Notes
- Chicken breasts can be used instead of thighs for a leaner option.
- For a spicier sauce, add hot sauce to the Alabama white sauce.
- These sliders are also delicious served cold for picnics or tailgates.
