- 14 oz extra-firm tofu (pressed and drained)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (minced)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into 1/2-inch thick slices or cubes.
- Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, chipotle peppers, lime juice, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Marinate the tofu: Place tofu in a dish, pour the marinade over it, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the tofu: Grill tofu for 3–4 minutes on each side until grill marks appear and edges are slightly crisp.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from grill, garnish with cilantro, and serve immediately.
