Main Ingredients:

  • 1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu, drained and pressed

Seasonings:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • Optional chopped green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut and Season Tofu: Cut pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, then toss with cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat to 400°F for 3 minutes.
  3. Air Fry Tofu: Arrange tofu cubes in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

  • For best texture, press tofu for at least 20 minutes before use.
  • Add nutritional yeast for extra flavor.
  • Substitute olive oil for sesame oil if preferred.
