Main Ingredients:
- 1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu, drained and pressed
Seasonings:
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish:
- Optional chopped green onions and sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cut and Season Tofu: Cut pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, then toss with cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat to 400°F for 3 minutes.
- Air Fry Tofu: Arrange tofu cubes in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For best texture, press tofu for at least 20 minutes before use.
- Add nutritional yeast for extra flavor.
- Substitute olive oil for sesame oil if preferred.
