Marinade:
- 1½ pounds baby octopus, cleaned and rinsed
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Coating and Frying:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges and chopped parsley for serving
Instructions
- Marinate: Whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Add octopus, coat well, and marinate for 2 hours.
- Prep Octopus: Pat dry marinated octopus. Dredge in flour mixture.
- Fry: Fry octopus in batches until golden, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve: Serve hot with lemon wedges and parsley.

- For added flavor, grill marinated octopus briefly before frying.
- Air fry at 400°F for a lighter option, 6–8 minutes.
