Description

This Dorito Casserole is a delicious and comforting dish that combines seasoned ground beef, creamy sauce, cheese, and crunchy Doritos for a satisfying meal the whole family will love.

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies (undrained)
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (9.75 oz) nacho cheese Doritos (crushed slightly)
  • Optional toppings like chopped tomatoes, green onions, or sliced jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season the meat: Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add ingredients: Add Rotel, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheese. Mix well.
  5. Assemble casserole: Grease a 9×13-inch dish. Layer half of the Doritos, top with beef mixture, remaining Doritos, and cheese.
  6. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
