Scale
Pudding Mixture:
- 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
Assembly:
- 1 (14 oz) package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- pastel-colored candy eggs or jelly beans
- marshmallow Peeps (chicks or bunnies)
- green-tinted shredded coconut (optional)
- small clear plastic cups or jars for serving
Instructions
- Prepare Pudding Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Let sit for 5 minutes to fully set. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and combined.
- Crush Cookies: In a food processor or blender, crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs to resemble dirt.
- Assemble Cups: Spoon a layer of cookie crumbs into the bottom of each cup, followed by a layer of pudding mixture. Repeat layers, ending with cookie crumbs on top. Optionally, sprinkle green-tinted coconut to resemble grass. Top each cup with candy eggs and one marshmallow Peep.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- To tint coconut green, place shredded coconut in a zip-top bag with a few drops of green food coloring and shake until evenly coated.
- You can also use chocolate rocks, edible flowers, or gummy worms for variation.
