For the filling:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Mash bananas in a bowl, then add melted butter, egg, brown sugar, and milk. Stir and sprinkle in yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add salt and gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
- Rise and roll: Knead dough gently until smooth. Let rise until doubled. Roll out into a rectangle, spread with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Roll tightly, slice, and place in a baking dish.
- Bake: Let rise, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Glaze and serve: Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
