Description

This refreshing Peach Sangria combines dry white wine with peach schnapps, brandy, and fresh fruit for a delightful summer beverage. Perfectly balanced with sweetness from simple syrup and fizzy club soda, this easy no-cook drink is great for gatherings and warm weather enjoyment.

Ingredients

Scale

Alcoholic Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps
  • 1/4 cup brandy

Sweeteners

  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)

Fruits

  • 3 ripe peaches (pitted and sliced)
  • 1 cup strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1 orange (sliced into rounds)

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water (chilled)
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine Base Liquids: In a large pitcher, mix together the dry white wine, peach schnapps, brandy, and simple syrup. Stir well to blend the flavors thoroughly.
  2. Add Fresh Fruit: Add the sliced peaches, hulled and sliced strawberries, and orange rounds to the pitcher, dispersing the fruit evenly in the liquid.
  3. Chill and Infuse: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or up to overnight to allow the fruit flavors to infuse into the wine and spirits.
  4. Finish Before Serving: Just before serving, stir in the chilled club soda or sparkling water to add a refreshing fizz.
  5. Serve: Pour the sangria over ice in glasses, ensuring each glass includes some of the fresh fruit for garnish and flavor.

Notes

  • You can substitute nectarines or mangoes for the peaches if desired for a different fruit twist.
  • For a sweeter sangria, increase the amount of simple syrup or use a sweeter white wine such as Moscato.
