Fresh Strawberries:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
Plain Greek Yogurt:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, no added sweeteners)
Honey (optional):
- 1 tablespoon honey
Water (to thin if needed):
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Blend Strawberries: Add the chopped strawberries to a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
- Mix Yogurt and Honey: Add the Greek yogurt and optional honey to the blender, and blend again until creamy.
- Adjust Consistency: If too thick, add water to slightly thin the mixture.
- Fill Molds: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays.
- Freeze: Freeze for at least 3–4 hours until solid.
- Serve: Pop treats out of molds and store in the freezer. Serve frozen as a cool snack for your dog.
Notes
- Use plain yogurt without artificial sweeteners, especially xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- Substitute with other dog-safe fruits like blueberries or bananas.
- Introduce new treats gradually and monitor your dog for reactions.
