Ingredients
Scale
Cookie Dough
- 1 box (15.25 ounces) strawberry cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
- Powdered sugar for rolling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir this mixture until it forms a soft dough.
- Add white chocolate chips: Fold the white chocolate chips into the dough gently if using, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Shape the cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll each into a ball. Optionally, roll each dough ball in powdered sugar for a crinkled effect.
- Place and space cookies: Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them approximately 2 inches apart to allow spreading.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers remain slightly soft.
- Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a stronger strawberry flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry extract to the dough mixture.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
