Description

A refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Mojito cocktail combining muddled fresh strawberries, mint, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and sparkling Rosé wine. Perfect for a quick, delicious summer drink that balances sweetness, citrus, and minty freshness.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Strawberry Mojitos

  • 4 large strawberries, chopped and divided
  • 14 mint leaves, divided
  • 4 ounces rum, divided
  • 2 ounces lime juice, divided
  • 2 ounces simple syrup, divided
  • 6 ounces sparkling Rosé wine, divided (about 1 (187ml) bottle)

For Garnish (optional)

  • Mint leaves
  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Muddle Strawberries and Mint: Divide the chopped strawberries evenly among 2 highball glasses. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to muddle the strawberries to release their juices. Add half of the mint leaves to each glass and gently muddle them as well to release their oils without tearing them.
  2. Add Ice: Fill both glasses with ice cubes to chill the cocktail and prepare for mixing.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Pour half of the rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and sparkling Rosé wine into each glass. Stir gently to combine all the flavors evenly without losing the carbonation.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Add additional mint leaves, sliced strawberries, and lime wedges on top of each glass for a bright, aromatic garnish. Serve immediately to enjoy the freshness and fizz.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and use sparkling water instead of Rosé wine.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Gently muddle mint to avoid bitterness.
  • Chill the glasses beforehand for a colder drink.
