Ingredients
Scale
Beef Patties
- 1½ pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon burger seasoning blend
Toppings
- 4-6 tablespoons pub cheese spread
- Beer caramelized onions (see Note for preparation suggestion)
- 8 slices bacon, cooked
Buns
- 4 burger buns (brioche, kaiser rolls, or pretzel rolls recommended; toasted)
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties: Place the ground beef in a bowl and add the burger seasoning blend. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined, then form the mixture into 4 even patties.
- Grill the Patties: Preheat your grill or grill pan/skillet to medium-high heat. Grill the beef patties for 7-10 minutes, flipping once halfway through cooking, until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Assemble the Burgers: Remove the patties from the grill and place each on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top each patty with a generous tablespoon of pub cheese spread, a spoonful of beer caramelized onions, and 2 slices of cooked bacon.
- Serve: Place the top half of the bun on each burger. Serve immediately with your choice of additional toppings or sauces as desired.
Notes
- For beer caramelized onions, thinly slice onions and cook them slowly in a pan with butter or oil and a splash of your favorite beer until soft and caramelized, approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Use brioche, kaiser rolls, or pretzel rolls for best flavor and texture; toasting the buns enhances the texture and taste.
- Adjust seasoning in the burger seasoning blend according to your preference, commonly including salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- To ensure juicy burgers, avoid pressing down on patties while grilling.
