Description

This Whipped Artichoke and Feta Dip is a creamy, flavorful appetizer perfect for parties or casual gatherings. Combining whipped feta, cream cheese, fresh garlic, and tender artichoke hearts, it delivers a tangy and savory bite that’s baked to warm, bubbly perfection. Ready in just 30 minutes, this dip pairs wonderfully with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional, to taste)
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, chopped into large chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F to prepare for baking the dip later.
  2. Prepare Garlic: Peel the garlic cloves. Turn on your food processor and feed the garlic cloves into the chute. The garlic will be minced finely in the bowl.
  3. Whip Cheeses: Add the feta cheese to the food processor and whip until fluffy and well combined. Then add the softened cream cheese broken into pieces, fresh lemon juice, and pepper to taste. Continue whipping until smooth and fully combined. Taste and add salt if desired.
  4. Add Artichokes: Place the chopped artichoke hearts into the food processor bowl and pulse just enough to break them into small, bite-sized pieces without pureeing them.
  5. Bake Dip: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is heated through, bubbly, and fragrant. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can prepare this dip ahead of time and refrigerate it before baking.
  • Serve with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetable sticks.
  • Adjust salt based on the saltiness of your feta cheese.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs like parsley or dill before serving.
